The Eastern Wyoming College golf team recently traveled to Sterling, Colorado to compete in the NJC tournament where they brought home a second place finish with a score of 625.
“Our guys gave a great run Friday in an effort to catch Southeast Community College but came up short by 5 strokes to take second place. We finished the fall season in second place in our region as a team with several golfers in the top 10,” shared Coach Zach Smith. “Aaron Nirider is sitting in 4th place for the season while Josh Wilson, and Logan Harrison are tied for 8th. The guys will continue to practice as weather permits in the fall and continue to work hard in the classroom.”
Sophomore Aaron Nirider, Riverton, WY, finished the two-day tournament with a score of 149 which earned him second place honors.

This tournament concludes the fall season for the Lancers. The spring tournaments will kick off the end of March.
