New Employees Introduced to Eastern Wyoming College

Eastern Wyoming College in Douglas recently welcomed new employees to campus.

Blanca Jaime, is the new Office Assistant. She has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Office Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with accounting emphasis, from Chadron State College. Blanca was a Paraprofessional and Interpreter for Converse County School District # 1 and is fluent in Spanish.

Matthew Buchhammer, is the new Adult Learning Center Coordinator-Instructor. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy, from the University of Wyoming, and a Master of Arts in Education in Community Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College.

Matthew also holds an Elementary Education Teaching Certificate in Nebraska, a Wyoming Professional Counselor license and is Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board certified in Counseling and Elementary Education.

“The Douglas Campus and its students will benefit from the expertise and knowledge that Matt and Blanca will bring to our organization. We are excited to have Matt and Blanca be a part of the EWC team,” said Margaret Farley, Associate Vice President for Academic Services.
