EWC Golfers wins at Lamar Colorado

Golf Team 2013-2014The Eastern Wyoming College golf team continued the regular season with another first place regional finish at the Otero/Lamar, CO tournament. The Lancers had a team score of 300.

Individual placing for the Lancers at this event were as follows:

  • Josh Wilson, freshman, West Haven, UT – placed 3rd overall and tied for 2nd among National Junior College Athletic Association Division I participants
  • Garrett Mortimer, sophomore, Erie, CO – placed 4th with a 75
  • Brandon Rideout, freshman, Wamsutter, WY, tied for 5th with a 76
  • Deyton Klein, freshman, Holyoke, CO, also, tied for 5th with a score of 76

There are three tournaments left for the EWC golf team. McCook, NE April 10-11, EWC home Tournament April 16-17, and Trinidad, CO tournament April 24-25.
