The Community Education office at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington is now accepting enrollments for the following workshops.
Hunter Safety will be held April 7-12 from 6- 9 pm Monday through Friday. Saturday class is 9-12 pm. This class will be taught by Andy Roosa, Wyoming Fish & Game Warden.
Wyoming Hunter Safety Certification—required for all hunters born after 1966, or for hunting in certain parts of Wyoming; ages ten years & older recommended; must attend 12 hour of instruction & complete a test; scholarships provided by Goshen County 2-Shot Goose Hunting Committee for students 8-17 residing in Goshen County. Materials will be provided at the first class. The cost of this class is $25. Registration on the Wyoming Fish & Game website is also required.
Fashionable Ladies, Hats of Style & Afternoon Tea will be held Saturday April 5, 12:30-3:30pm. The cost of this class is $45 which includes all material. Ladies, in times past, hats were not only a popular accessory and fashion statement, but also a show of social grace and status—times reminiscent of the Unsinkable Molly Brown, Kentucky Derby, Easter Bonnets and Downtown Abbey.
Spend a lovely afternoon creating your own elegant, one-of-a-kind, fashionable hat to show off while you enjoy a traditional afternoon tea. This is a perfect activity for mothers and daughters, sisters and best friends. Fellas, what a special birthday or Mother’s Day gift for those wonderful women in your life!
