I authorize Eastern Wyoming College to collect and share, at minimum, personally identifying information, collected through the college’s admission or grant state application, the FAFSA, or other method, enrollment information, and all other information necessary to determine my eligibility for a student grant (including past receipt of student grants or other state financial aid receipts) with other Wyoming Community Colleges and the Wyoming Community College Commission. I acknowledge that funding for the Kickstart Wyoming’s Tomorrow Scholarship programs that span more than one year is subject to the availability of funds as provided by the Kickstart Wyoming’s Tomorrow Scholarship Endowment and is contingent on the State Treasurer transferring monies to the Kickstart Wyoming’s Tomorrow Scholarship Expenditure account.

I acknowledge that institutional awarding priority for qualified applicants shall prioritize students in the following categories, in the following order, and that I may not receive a Kickstart Wyoming’s Tomorrow Scholarship despite meeting all student eligibility criteria if I do not otherwise meet priority awarding criteria: (1) students who receive a scholarship in the immediately preceding term, (2) students with an industry sponsorship, (3) students entering a program of study determined to be a high need to economic growth or economic development opportunity area determined by the Commission, (4) students who have not previously obtained a postsecondary credential, (5) all other applicants. I further acknowledge that any scholarship awarded by EWC is provisional until certified by the Wyoming Community College Commission and certification is not guaranteed.

I acknowledge that my requirements to maintain student eligibility to receive a Kickstart Wyoming’s Tomorrow Scholarship include (1) maintaining continuous enrollment for not less than two academic terms in each successive academic year, (2) maintaining a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.0 each and completing at least two-thirds of all attempted credits each semester, (3) filing an annual scholarship application and FAFSA, and (4) having financial need as calculated annual by the Financial Aid Office. Awards are permanently discontinued once a student has received a Kickstart Wyoming’s Tomorrow Scholarship for the maximum equivalent of four full-time academic semesters or $7,200, whichever comes first. Students who forfeit eligibility for failing to maintain continuous enrollment may follow the eligibility reinstatement appeal process outlined at the Wyoming Community College Commission’s website.
