The Community Education office at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington is offering the following class.

Mahjong is a game of both skill and luck that originated in China many centuries ago and was brought to America in the 1920’s. Mahjong is played with four players seated around a table. It is similar to the card game of Rummy, only played with tiles instead of cards. Like poker, you will learn a lot about your opponents as you play and will adjust your strategies based upon their strengths and weaknesses. Join this Introduction class of four sessions and you will be ready to become a part of Mahjong Club.

This class will be held in CTEC classroom 112 on Tuesdays, April 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 6-8:00 pm. The cost of this class is $45.00
