Foundational Math Instructor
Position: Faculty, Full-time, Tenure-track, 9-month annual renewing contract, FLSA Exempt, Benefitted; College pays up to $500 for relocation expenses.
Start Date: August 13, 2026
Salary Hire Range: $46,330 – $60,439 annually for each 9-month contract (actual amount depends on education and experience)
Job Summary:
The Mathematics Department at EWC is seeking a tenure-track Math Instructor position to address critical needs and bolster student success. This role would directly fill teaching in developmental math and instruction in core math curriculum. The position would enhance our academic support systems by improving foundational and co-requisite mathematics courses, developing a more effective peer tutoring program, serving as a vital link between testing services, adult education, and academic departments, working closely with delivery of dual and concurrent instruction with high schools in the EWC service area. Full-time faculty members are contracted to teach the equivalent of thirty (30) credit hours per academic year (Fall and Spring terms). Full-time faculty are expected to have a minimum of five (5) posted office hours per week. The position may require minimal travel.
Gunsmithing Instructor
Position: Faculty, Full-time, Tenure-track, 9-month annual renewing contract, Benefits, FLSA Exempt; College pays up to $1,000 for relocation expenses
Start Date: August 13, 2026
Salary Hire Range: $42,118 – $60,439 annually for each 9-month contract (actual amount depends on education and experience)
Job Summary:
The Gunsmithing Instructor is a full-time, benefited, tenure-track, faculty categorized position located at the Douglas Campus. The Instructor must use multiple learning methods in the classroom to maximize student learning. The position is responsible for facets of the Gunsmithing Program and curricula. The primary duty is to prepare and deliver in-class, hybrid, and/or online instruction to students. Strong personal leadership, organization, instruction, and communication skills are needed to meet program requirements and enable student success.The Gunsmithing Instructor typically works Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. All full-time faculty are expected to teach fifteen (15) hours per semester with a total of thirty (30) per academic year. EWC requires a minimum of five (5) on campus office hours held throughout the week. The position may require minimal travel.

Position Summary: The Math Instructor is a full-time, benefited, tenure-track, faculty categorized position located at the Torrington Campus. The Math Instructor will be expected to provide high-quality instruction across the full spectrum of the mathematics curriculum, from developmental and co-requisite courses to core academic requirements. Beyond foundational instruction, the position offers opportunities to support or develop offerings in high-growth areas, depending on the candidate’s expertise and education. Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field from an accredited institution; with a minimm of 18 graduate hours in mathematics
- One year full-time teaching experience in discipline at a secondary level or higher
- Current and valid state-issued driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Mathematics or related field; degree must be from an accredited institution; must have18 graduate hours in the discipline being taught
- Three or more years full-time teaching experience in discipline at secondary level or higher education
- Previous instruction experience in higher education
- Background in Mathematics or related field
- Ability to teach data-science, computer science, or physics; if there is program growth in those areas
Chemistry Instructor

The Chemistry Instructor is a full-time, benefitted, tenure-track, faculty categorized position whose primary responsibility is to provide high-quality instruction across the full spectrum of the chemistry curriculum, from introductory and general chemistry to organic chemistry and specialized labs. The instructor is responsible for ensuring institutional continuity and student success, focusing specifically on bolstering retention and persistence through collaboration with all academic departments, particularly Nursing, Veterinary Technology and Agriculture. In addition to core teaching duties, the instructor will contribute to laboratory safety management, curriculum development and student support initiatives. The position offers opportunities to support or develop offerings in high-growth areas such as biology, physics, mathematics, computer science or agricultural sciences, depending on the candidate’s expertise. The Chemistry Instructor will be a high-energy collaborator dedicated to helping students excel in the physical sciences and may also engage in vital community and industry partnerships. The position is on the Torrington Campus and may require minimal travel.
