Recently the College has received a question on the safety protocols taken with students who have returned to finish coursework for the Spring 2020 semester. There are a small number of welding, cosmetology, and barbering students who are back to finish courses. None of these students are living in the residence halls.

On the EWC alert page located at this link: https://ewc.wy.edu/alerts/, there are detailed plans of the safety precautions and required screening followed each day with students and employees.

A summary of those plans includes temperature checks, mask requirements, restricted numbers in groups, and sign in and out procedures. Employees, students, and visitors are not allowed on campus if they are sick or have been sick.

At the end of the first week of reopening nears, college officials, employees, and students have reported numerous examples of positive and safe interactions.
