EWC’s Clark and Caldwell finish strong at Lancer Rodeo

TORRINGTON, Wyo. – The Eastern Wyoming College Lancer Rodeo Team hosted the annual Lancer Rodeo this weekend and two EWC student athletes competed on the short round Sunday, March 24.
Lancer Kyler Clark of Yoder, Wyoming had a time of 9.6 seconds in calf roping to place him third in the long round. He came back on Sunday with a time of 11.5 seconds and placed fifth in the average for the Lancers.
Lancer RaeLee Caldwell, a Gillette Wyoming native, advanced to the short round Sunday with a time of 7.8 seconds. In the short round she had a time of 7.2 seconds to finish fourth in the Short Go and finished her weekend fourth in the average for the goat tying.
The Lancers will be back in action at Colorado State’s college rodeo April 4-6 at the Ranch Arena in Loveland, Colorado.
