She was also named Region IX Defensive Player of the Week. Teammate Belle Dolan was named Offensive Player of the Week. “Both young ladies did a great job,” Lancer volleyball coach George Hamilton said after the team’s 3-1 results at the Garden City College Tournament in Garden City, Kansas. “Boden covered the court and made it hard for other teams to get the ball on the court.” Liljedahl is a sophomore from Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Dolan is a sophomore from Castle Rock, Colorado. The Lancers are off to a great start as a team, Coach Hamilton said. As a team they are ranked second in the nation for digs and third in the nation of digs per set. They are also ranked tenth in kills per set.
