Award-Winning Author John D. Nesbitt to Host Book Signing at EWC Library

The Eastern Wyoming College Library will host a special book signing event with celebrated local author and longtime EWC faculty member John D. Nesbitt on Thursday, April 24, at 5:30 p.m.

Nesbitt, an award-winning writer known for his work in traditional Western fiction, mystery, contemporary and retro/noir fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, will be signing copies of his books. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase books on-site with cash or check. All proceeds from the event will benefit the EWC Library.

With a literary career spanning more than 30 years, Nesbitt has authored more than 50 books and earned multiple honors, including four Spur Awards from Western Writers of America and two Peacemaker Awards from Western Fictioneers. He is also a two-time recipient of creative writing fellowships from the Wyoming Arts Council.

A Professor Emeritus at EWC, Nesbitt taught for four decades and continues to contribute to the literary community through workshops, classes, individual sessions, and translation and court interpreting services.

Recent titles by Nesbitt include Great Lonesome, a Peacemaker Award-winning novel that also received the Fiction Award from the Wyoming State Historical Society; Silver Grass, a young adult novel; and Double Deceit, a Western novella.
