EWC Lancers perform well at CNFR

“It was a good week for EWC at the CNFR,” shared Coach Jake Clark. “We had our ups and downs but to have four runs in the final round any given year is a good thing. I am so thankful to coach such an outstanding group of student athletes that represent EWC, the team, and the sport of rodeo in such a great way.”

Jacey Thompson, Yoder, WY, finished in a 3-way tie for 7th in the nation in the goat tying and 11th in the nation in the breakaway roping.

Karissa Rayhill, Martin, SD, was 12th in the nation in the goat tying.

Brooke Glass, Sidney, NE, placed 2nd in the 2nd round of breakaway roping.

In the team roping, Braden Pirrung, Hartford, SD, placed 8th in the nation.

The Lancers will kick off the fall rodeo season in September.
