EWC to host first home volleyball game on new court

TORRINGTON, Wyo. – Eastern Wyoming College will host its first home volleyball game on the college’s new court at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the EWC Gymnasium on the Torrington Campus.

The event will feature a White Out theme, with fans encouraged to wear white and show their Lancer pride. A tailgate party will begin at 5 p.m. and will include food, fun and prizes.

“Wear white and join us for food, fun, and prizes as we kick off the volleyball season, at home,” EWC Alumni and Friends Director Lisa Johnson said. “Let’s pack the gym and show our Lancer pride.”

The game and tailgate are free and open to everyone. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the tailgate and to help fill the gym for the Lancers’ first home match on the new court.

Court seating will be available for fans. The gym’s new bleachers are scheduled to be installed early next year, adding additional seating options for future home events.

The EWC Gymnasium is located at 3200 West C Street in Torrington.
