EWC to Host Tailgate Party for Volleyball Home Opener

The Lancer Booster Club, along with the Eastern Wyoming College Alumni and Friends and the EWC Student Senate, will host a Tailgate Party before the first home volleyball game of the season on Friday, Oct. 10.

The community is invited to a free hot dog cookout from 4:30–6 p.m. outside the Verl Petsch Jr. Activities Center. The Lady Lancers will take the court at 6 p.m. for their home opener.

“All students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members are encouraged to come out, enjoy a meal, and cheer on our Lady Lancers,” said Lisa Johnson, EWC Foundation Director. “This event is a great way to celebrate the start of the season and show support for our student-athletes.”

The event is open to everyone, and attendees are encouraged to wear their Lancer gear and bring their school spirit for an evening of food, fun, and volleyball.
