EWC Volleyball to Host Dig Pink Game Oct. 17
TORRINGTON, Wyo. — Eastern Wyoming College’s volleyball team will host its annual Dig
Pink game Friday, Oct. 17, at the EWC Gymnasium. The Lancers will face Western Wyoming at
6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and enjoy an evening of exciting action on the court.
This year, thousands of volleyball athletes nationwide are taking part in The Side-Out
Foundation’s Dig Pink® program. The initiative brings together middle school, high school,
college, club and adult teams to advocate for those living with metastatic breast cancer while
raising funds for the Side-Out Foundation.
Donations from Dig Pink events help support patients’ participation in Side-Out’s Precision
Medicine Analysis Program and contribute to the foundation’s ongoing breast cancer research.
“This is one of our favorite events of the year,” said EWC Head Volleyball Coach George
Hamilton. “It’s about more than just volleyball—it’s about our community coming together for a
cause that touches so many lives. We’d love to see the gym filled with pink as we cheer on the
Lancers and stand in support of those affected by breast cancer.”
