EWC welcomes new faculty and staff
Eastern Wyoming College introduced new faculty and staff at their fall In-Service.
Ms. Madison Bloodgood – GEAR UP Director
From Torrington, WY – Bachelor’s degree in psychology and is pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical mental health counseling, both through Chadron State College. Professional experience includes employment at Wyoming Child and Family Development and Wyoming Workforce Services/Vocational Rehabilitation.
Sage Chaput – Admissions Coordinator
From Shawnee, WY – Bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Wyoming. Former student/athlete at EWC and was an EWC work/study student and a student ambassador.
Mr. Bryan Hart – Student Success/Testing Center Director
From Thane, WY – Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Chadron State College.
Mr. Gerald (Oobie) Hawkes – Business Instructor
From Las Cruces, NM – MBA in Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University.
Ms. Alicia Hawkins – Interim Head Women’s Basketball Coach
Alicia played basketball at Colorado State University; where she helped her team win the Mountain West title during her senior season. She has been helping EWC’s basketball programs for three years and in her “free time”, she helps with her family’s local farming & ranching operation.
Dr. Geoff Peck – English Instructor
From Easton, Pennsylvania – PhD from the University of North Dakota in English and Creative Writing.
Ms. Kasey Powell – Nursing Instructor, Douglas
From Douglas, WY – Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Western Governor’s University.
Ms. Crystal Ringle – GEAR UP Freshman Program Specialist
From Torrington, WY – Associate’s degree in accounting from EWC. Currently enrolled in our evening nursing program on the Torrington campus
Ms. Amber Salmon – Nursing Instructor, Douglas
From Douglas, WY – Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Western Governor’s University
Dr. Monica Teichert – Nursing Instructor, Torrington
From Torrington, WY – Received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UW
