In steer wrestling, Taydon Gorsuch opened with a 5.2-second run to place second in the first round, but came up empty in the short round. Sophomore T.C. Hughson won the short round with a 5.3-second run and finished third in the average.

Team ropers Cade Thar and Pate Tavegie stopped the clock at 8.4 seconds in round one for sixth place, but a no-time in the short round dropped them to ninth overall.
On the women’s side, freshman Kianna Miller roped her first calf in 3.5 seconds and followed with a 4.9 in the short round to place third in breakaway roping. Tommie Martin recorded a 3.3-second run in round one to finish third but received no time in the short round, ending seventh overall.
