Administrative Regulation: Contract Policy

The length of the contract and the number of working days during the year will be based on 12 months. A contract for a period less than 12 months is calculated as a fraction of a twelve-month contract.
Length of contract, work assignment, benefits and hours worked are as described in Administrative Regulation 3.21.2.
According to Administrative Regulation 3.2.3, non-faculty employees who are at least half-time and are below the level of Executive Administrator shall serve a probationary period not to exceed one year. If an employee’s work is not satisfactory, he or she may be dismissed at any time during the probationary period without cause assigned or right of appeal.
