What is a National Certified Medical Assistant?

An NCMA is someone who has taken the national exam through NCCT* after successful completion of an accredited program. Those awarded the title of NCMA have proven their proficiency with a nationally recognized testing center.

Educational Goals

The MA program at EWC focuses on the healthcare field as a whole, allowing students to gain a medical knowledge background in order to be successful and to stand out in their field.

Program Highlights

Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the National Certified Medical Assistant and National Certified Phlebotomy Technician exams through the National Center for Competency Testing*.
