Job Description

Position: Faculty, Full-time, Tenure-track, 9-month annual renewing contract, Benefits, FLSA Exempt; College pays up to $1,000 for relocation expenses

Start Date: August 14, 2025

Salary Hire Range: $46,330 – $60,439 annually for each 9-month contract (actual amount depends on education and experience)

Job Summary:
The Business Instructor is a full-time, benefited, tenure-track, faculty categorized position located at the Torrington Campus. The Business Instructor must use multiple learning methods in the classroom to maximize student learning. The position is responsible for facets of the Business and Agriculture Business program and curricula. The primary duty is to prepare and deliver in-class, hybrid, and/or online instruction to students. Strong personal leadership, organization, instruction, and communication skills are needed to meet program requirements and enable student success. Full-time faculty members are contracted to teach the equivalent of 30 credit hours per academic year (Fall and Spring terms). Full-time faculty are expected to have a minimum of five (5) posted office hours per week. The position may require minimal travel.

Job Description
Position: The Livestock Judging Coach/Recruiter is a full-time, benefitted, professional (FSLA Exempt) position located at the Torrington Campus. EWC pays up to $1,000 for relocation expenses

Start Date: August 1, 2024 (Successful applicant may start duties earlier through separate negotiation allowing for timely recruitment opportunities)

Salary Hire Range: $48,169 – $58,234 annually for each 11-month appointment (actual amount depends on education and experience)

Job Summary:
The Livestock Judging Coach will oversee all aspects of coaching a highly competitive livestock judging team, including responsibility for training and mentoring students interested in competitive livestock judging. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a network of local, regional, and national contacts supporting student recruitment and success. The position requires day time, evening, and weekends depending on the practice schedule and competitions. The position requires travel throughout the United States. The position duties require approximately 75% Livestock Judging Coach and departmental support, and 25% Recruitment.
