The Eastern Wyoming College Accounting and Business Administration Departments offer students the opportunity to complete an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Accounting, Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration, or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Business Administration. All of these degrees are designed to be completed in four semesters. All courses in the Associate of Applied Science degree are available in a three year rotation pattern via distance learning from Eastern Wyoming College.
Students intending to major in marketing, accounting, management, or other specific areas of business generally take the same coursework during the first two years of college. Students completing an AS degree at EWC will find seamless transferability to numerous four year institutions with whom EWC has articulation agreements. Coursework transferred to other institutions is generally accepted. The AAS degree is not designed as a transfer program, but offers students with one of the most flexible programs to provide them with entry level business skills emphasizing accounting, office management, and computer areas.

The Business Office Technology program offers three exciting options:
- The Certificate program provides training in advanced computer skills, written communication skills, and general office procedures. It is designed to be completed in just two semesters.
- The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program combines advanced computer skills with written and oral communication skills, practical accounting, and is designed to be completed in only four semesters.
- A Certificate program for Executive Office Assistant provides training in computer skills, written and spoken English communication skills to improve bilingual capabilities, and office procedures. This has been tailored from our Business Office Technology program for International Students.
In addition to gaining skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), students in both programs will gain skills in web authoring and practice office skills in a lab setting. Students will also complete an internship, gaining on-the-job experience. These work-related experiences emphasize the concepts, skills and attitudes needed to be a successful office professional.
