Wyoming Scottish Rite Foundation Scholarship Application
The Wyoming Scottish Rite Foundation is an incorporated non-profit organization of the Masonic Fraternity dedicated to charitable and educational purposes.
Eligibility
- Scholarship applicants must be graduates of a Wyoming high school or hold a Wyoming GED.
- The recipients must be full-time students during the year the scholarship is used.
Completion of a full course load with a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for the first
semester in order to receive the scholarship the second (spring) semester.
How to Apply
- Submit an application by June 7, 2025 using the correct postage to: Scottish Rite Foundation 1820 Capitol Avenue Cheyenne, Wyoming 82201
- The application must be filled out completely. Incomplete or late applications will
not be considered. - The application must be typed or neatly printed.
- Two (2) letters of reference must accompany the application.
- The application must include a clear copy of official high school transcript, including ACT/SAT scores, or a copy of official college transcript, whichever is most recent.
- Only successful applicants will be notified.
- Scholarship funds will be forwarded only to the institution indicated on the
application. Recipients will receive their grants through the Financial Aid Office of
their school at the time of registration for each semester. - Decisions of the selection committee will be final.
- Application may be submitted each year until a recipient has received four awards.
Selection of Recipients
Scholarship applications will be forwarded to the Wyoming Scottish Rite Foundation
Committee who will, in turn, make the final selection of students. The award will be based on the following rank order:
- Leadership potential and activities
- Grade point average
- Financial need
