EWC announces Wyoming concealed carry permit class

The Community Education department at Eastern Wyoming College is pleased to announce an upcoming Wyoming Concealed Carry Permit class on Saturday, October 3.

Wyoming Concealed Carry Permit Class

Torrington Police Department

Whether you are simply wanting to develop or improve your handgun safety skills and proficiency, or intend to apply for a Wyoming Concealed Carry Permit, this class will meet your needs.  TPD Sgt. Connelly will provide instruction on core fundamentals of handgun safety, proper handling, transportation, and storage, as well as handgun shooting specifics such as proper stance, correct grip, sight alignment, proper trigger press, and sight picture.  All participants in the class will experience a session of classroom instruction on campus with the remainder of this one-day class participating in live-fire range sessions.  Participants are responsible for providing their own handgun, holster, and ammunition. Holsters, eye protection, ear protection, and a hat with a brim are required equipment for the live-fire range sessions.  Feel free to bring water and snacks to the range.

(Successful completion & testing of this class will fulfill State requirement to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit in Wyoming)

Time:  8:00-5:00pm, CTEC 101, morning in class, afternoon at firing range
Cost:  $100
Location: CTEC 101, TPD Firing Range
