EWC SkillsUSA members donate gifts to the Torrington Learning Center

The members of SkillsUSA at Eastern Wyoming College raised over $500 to purchase gifts that were given to The Torrington Learning Center before the holiday break.

The members personally donated over $300 to the project. TLC staff then wrapped and distributed the gifts to their students. “EWC SkillsUSA Strives to be leadership and community service driven, as well as related fields of competition” said Stan Nicolls, EWC Welding Instructor and SkillsUSA sponsor.

EWC announces change to Community Education Spring Yoga classes

The Eastern Wyoming College Community Education office in Torrington announces changes in dates for the spring semester Yoga classes taught by Sandy Huckfeldt: Men Only Yoga (5:45-6:45am), Gentle Yoga (7:00-8:00am), Mixed Yoga (5:15-6:15p). These classes will meet on Tuesday and Thursday, January 6, 2020 to March 12. Classes will not meet on January 28 and 30.

Location change on Men’s basketball game scheduled for Jan 4

The Athletic Department has announced that the men’s basketball game scheduled for January 4th against Northwest Kansas Tech will be played in Torrington at the Petsch Center Gymnasium rather than away due to a gym scheduling problem at NWKT. The game will now be a home game on January 4th, 2020, at 4 pm.
