Elliott commits to SOSU

George Elliott with EWC Coach Zach Smith as he signs his commitment to Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Eastern Wyoming College sophomore George Elliott, Salisbury, England, has signed to continue his golf career at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK.

“I’m very excited to move on,” said Elliott. “This was the best offer I received. I really liked the small campus when I visited and I signed because of the coach. They have successful teams and I anticipate going to nationals each year.”

Elliott went on to say, “It’s been a good 2 years here. Coach has been good for me and good to me. I didn’t really think about missing here until I signed somewhere else. I am going to miss it.”

EWC Coach Zach Smith added the following, “George’s consistent play last year and this year has gotten him looks from a lot of schools. His consistent play has helped us and it will help Southeastern. He will be a contributor for them. I am excited for him.”
