The Community Education office at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington is offering a Mexican Cuisine Chile en Nogada class. This class will be held on March 15 from 6-8:00 pm and will cost $25.
Instructor Rocio Nesbitt will share her special recipe for Chile en Nogada which comes from Mexico’s southern state of Puebla. The dish is a feast for your palate, made with Poblano peppers stuffed with a mixture of ground meat, spices, apples and dried fruit and served in a creamy walnut sauce topped with pomegranate seeds and parsley. The presentation of the dish gives a visual representation of Mexico’s national colors. This cooking class will be popular, so don’t wait too long to sign up.
