The Eastern Wyoming College men’s golf team has now won five tournaments in a row as they won the Otero Junior College Tournament with a two-day total of 573 ahead of second place McCook Community College at 577.
“Our day one total was 276. That is remarkable and the men just played a great round of golf,” shared Coach Zach Smith. “I was really pleased with Jaydn’s performance. This team has been fun to watch as a different player has stepped up each tournament to lead the team.”
Freshman Jaydn Wayment, Ogden, UT, led the Lancers with a two-day total of 142 which was 3rd overall. Other individual scores were as follows:
Adrian Torres, freshman, Madrid, Spain – 143, 4th
