TORRINGTON, WY –
For years, students of all ages have been able to obtain college credit for classes offered in Guernsey. This has been made possible through the Eastern Wyoming College Outreach Center located in Guernsey High School. EWC Outreach Coordinator, Carly Shutt joined EWC as the coordinator last fall.
A large number of adult students have also seen the benefit from having a community college outreach center located in their community. Many have earned a degree from EWC and have gone on to pursue or obtain a bachelors or masters degree.
The EWC enrollment at the Guernsey Outreach Center for the 2007-2008 year included the following: 5.75 total Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), 13 concurrent enrollment, 189 community education enrollment in 19 community education classes.
