EWC to hold in-person classes this fall

April 13, 2021

Eastern Wyoming College will be resuming traditional course offerings beginning the Fall 2021 semester and will be fully open for the Fall 2021 semester for both the Torrington and Douglas campuses.

“We look forward to having our students and community return to campus and return to in-person learning and activities,” said Mr. Roger Humphrey, Vice President for Academics /Interim Vice President for Student Services.

With trends of decreasing cases of COVID-19 and an increasing availability of vaccines, EWC is preparing to be fully open for the start of Fall 2021 Semester.  Humphrey continued, “We have been working diligently over the last few months to determine how we can open our campuses to all students and the community while providing a safe learning environment. We are confident that we will be ready to bring all students back to the EWC.” College officials will continue to meet on a regular basis to monitor conditions and will make adjustments as necessary.

In addition to increasing on-campus classes, EWC will also increase the number of students living on campus for Fall of 2021. EWC will be able to provide a residential living experience for up to 200 students. Students interested in living on campus can submit their housing application at https://ewc.wy.edu/admissions/application-for-housing/.
