Eastern Wyoming College is pleased to announce that sixteen students were initiated into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society on October 20, 2015. Students initiated into the Alpha Omicron Lambda Chapter of PTK include: William Anderson, Torrington, WY; Alyssa Barnsdale, Torrington, WY; Clayton Bogert, Dix, NE; Rebecca Deen, Torrington, WY; Carlie Enns, Torrington, WY; Easton Hunter, Torrington, WY; Crystal Munoz, Torrington, WY; Lauren Nachtman, Douglas, WY; Brittney O’Kief, Wood Lake, NE; Grant Olsson, Lenesa, KS, Hadley Peebles, Torrington, WY; Nicole Posten, Torrington, WY; Jessica Rotz, Guernsey, WY; Danielle Schainost, Yoder, WY; Xiyun Tu, Torrington, WY; and Joelle Von Forell, Crawford, NE.

The Keynote Speakers for the event were Dr. Michelle Landa, Vice President for Academic Services and John Hansen, Communications Instructor and Director of Development.

Phi Theta Kappa’s mission is to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service, and fellowship programs.
