EWC players receive all region honors

The athletic department at Eastern Wyoming College has announced that two women’s basketball players have received all region IX honors.  Emily Evans, freshman, Cheyenne, WY and Sarah Bersang, freshman, Horsens, Denmark, were named to the All Region IX South Women’s Basketball team, this team is voted on by the coaches in Region IX.  Emily Evans was also named to the All Region IX South Defensive Team.

“We are very proud of these two players being named to the All Region Team, it shows the respect that these players have from the coaches in the Region and is a well-deserved honor,” added Coach Tom Andersen.
