Eastern Wyoming College will be hosting the annual Technology Day event to be held on the main campus in Torrington on Thursday, November 12. Nearly 150 students are preregistered for the event. Most students are juniors and seniors and will be attending from Burns, Gering, Glendo, Glenrock, Hulett, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Niobrara County, Ogallala, Pine Bluffs, Scottsbluff, Upton and Wheatland.
Students have pre-registered into hands-on sessions covering the following topics: construction technology, cosmetology, criminal justice, welding, computer networking and machine tooling. This has been a very popular event for the college and spots fill up quickly. Students will be arriving in the morning, participating in their sessions and will then be treated to lunch before they return home.
