EWC to offer Hobby Welding Studio

The Community Education office at Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington is offering a hobby welding studio class There will be three sessions with the first session will be held on Saturday, October 24^th, the second session will be on November 14^th  and the third session will be on December 5^th. All sessions will be from 8:00am-12:00 pm. The cost is $45 per session.

All you need for this class is a little imagination and some scrap metal—such as bicycle chains & pedals, horseshoes, broken tools, bent spoons-forks-knives, nuts & bolts, hubcaps, just about any metal, and weld them into a one-of-kind sculpture, lamp base, wall hanging, wind chime or yard and garden art.

EWC Welding Instructors and students will be available to give you the guidance you need and you’ll pick up a few welding skills. Wear sturdy shoes and long sleeves. Loaner welding gloves and helmets will be available, but feel free to bring your own.
