Welder Qualification Test Training is available for welders wishing to qualify under specific welding codes and specifications. This training consists of supervised practice and documentation of proper techniques, enabling the welders to overcome faulty habits. Practice Specimens are made and tested, and the welders are guided toward correcting any welding faults they may have.

Training is based on 30 hours per week. One week of training is usually sufficient.

Students are required to follow the rules and regulations set  forth by the college and welding department.

Students must furnish gloves, safety glasses, leathers, and hard sole leather work boots.

Eastern Wyoming College can certify and qualify your welders and welding procedures to sheet metal, structural, and piping codes. The college is fully staffed with AWS Certified Welding Inspectors and Technicians to help you with your testing needs.
