EWC Community Band and Choir seeks members
Eastern Wyoming College’s Community Band and Community Choir are accepting registrations for the fall season.
The community band, under the shared direction of several different area band leaders, will begin on Monday, Aug. 29 and run through Nov. 28 and will culminate its musical efforts with a free public concert on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in the EWC Fine Arts Auditorium. Band rehearsal will be in EWC’s FA104, music room from 6-7 p.m.
The EWC Community Choir, under the direction of Aaron Bahmer, will meet Monday, Aug. 29-Nov. 3 on the EWC Torrington Campus from 7:15 – 8:15 p.m. in FA 104, Music Room.
“Be a part of a long-standing community tradition and let your voice be heard,” EWC’s Aaron Bahmer said. “Make new friends, renew old acquaintances, and become a more accomplished singer.”
The choir will showcase its work with a free public concert on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in the EWC Fine Arts Auditorium, on the EWC campus in Torrington, Wyoming.
Pre-registration is required for both and can be completed by phone or in-person before the first call session. The cost of the class is $20.
