EWC freshmen find success at Sheridan College rodeo
The Eastern Wyoming College Lancer rodeo team traveled to Sheridan, Wyoming to compete in the annual Sheridan College rodeo September 24-26.
Freshman Justin Chasek, Mitchell, NE placed first in the first round of the team roping with a time of 5.7 seconds with partner Jake Chasek, Chadron State College.
In the tie down roping, freshman Ty Moser, Volga, SD, placed second in the first round with a time of 9.3 seconds.
“Each week we have had new freshmen finding a way to win,” said Coach Jake Clark. “I’m excited about this team.”
The Lancers will compete in the Central Wyoming College rodeo in Riverton, WY October 1-3.
