Eastern Wyoming College made a call to 911 late this afternoon for assistance with a small fire in the mulch landscaping outside of the new Agricultural Technology Education Center. According to EWC Director of the Physical Plant Keith Jarvis, nobody was working in that area. There was a faculty member working in ATEC at the time who noticed the smoke and initiated the call to local authorities. Nobody was injured in this incident. The fire was quickly extinguished.
