Ellie Anderson Shay Hough

The Eastern Wyoming College Lancer Rodeo team had the unique opportunity of competing in the Cheyenne Frontier Days arena this past weekend at the rodeo hosted by Laramie County Community College.

Sophomore Ellie Anderson, Meeker, CO placed second in the first round of breakaway roping with a time of 4.5 seconds. She finished the weekend 5^th in the average.

In the barrel racing, sophomore Shay Hough, Gillette, WY, placed 8^th in the average.

The team will travel to Riverton on September 25-27 to compete in a rodeo hosted by Central Wyoming College.
