All College and Career Readiness programs of study are fully aligned to the College and Career Readiness Standards. Participants are permitted to enroll in course(s) which best suit individual needs.
Career pathways programming consists of enrollments in:
- Career Pathways Explorations and Trainings (CPET)
- Career and Technical Education (CTE)
- Workplace Literacy
Transitions to College
Qualified participants may enroll in this course concurrently while enrolled in other College and Career Readiness courses. The course is designed as a general orientation and transition to college programs whereby participants will begin to explore and understand the college environment, learning to identify and utilize campus and community resources to enhance the academic experience.
General College and Career Readiness
This course equips students with the skills needed to strengthen reading, writing, mathematics, and computer literacy abilities so that they are prepared to enter post-secondary and/or the workforce.
High School Equivalency Certificate (HSEC) Preparation
In 2014 the State of Wyoming began to offer multiple pathways for individuals needing to earn a high school equivalency certificate. Today, students may choose to study for and take one of three HSEC exams: the 2014 G.E.D.®, the TASC, or the HiSET. Please note that the TASC is not offered in Wyoming, and the G.E.D. is not available at the EWC testing center, only HiSet is available through the EWC testing center, and tests are scheduled through hiset.ets.org. Target instruction includes:
- Reading and Writing
- Social Studies

English Language Acquisition (ELA) Programs
These courses are designed to help eligible individuals who are English language learners achieve competence in reading, writing, speaking, comprehension of the English language, mathematics, and Civics so that they are prepared to enter post-secondary and/or the workforce in the United States.
